Breaking Things 101

Breaking things is fun. Sometimes you can pick up the pieces and make some really cool things.

We are not sure what can be made out of the following examples, but there’s potential… for something

CSS3 Sliders

CSS3 Horizontal Slides Overlayed on Rotating Boxes

CSS3 Pick Up Sticks

What did you think? There will be more experiments like this in the future. Some might be useless code fails, but we hope some experiments can inspire others to use a technique or idea and build upon it.

thanks for the unique offerings – wonderful to find functional code that produces new & unusual visual patterns – not mimicing analog video noise, not trying to recreate celluloid film scratches, but producing cool, unusual visual artefacts – and which don’t prevent the page & code from working – I bet that would be hard to accomplish intentionally.

I’ve got some screen-space-saving uses in mind to test the CSS3 Horizontal Slides Overlayed on Rotating Boxes – will let ya know if I deploy online

love your clear communication of services & operation – hope to work with you one day soon
