Maybe this isn’t exactly news, at least to the people that live here – but Nashville continues to be one of the biggest stages for musicians of all genres, not just country… NPR recently ran a story ‘Beyond Country: Not Your Father’s Nashville‘, validating this point.

The Real Musicians of Nashville
When people think of Nashville, they think of the stretch of Broadway downtown. The street is lined with honky tonks, gift shops, boot stores, restaurants & clubs.
The real musicians are often the ones sitting on the side streets, or standing on the street corners – singing their song. Many of them have recorded successful studio albums. Some of them are just getting started, or trying to make enough money to get their next meal. (more…)
